Jules., 19 Mar 2020Not competitive? What about people who doesn't want this us... moreThe high refresh rate enhances the user experience and that's an important thing. Why do you think people buy costly headphones when they can buy some in just a few dollars? They want to a good experience. It is the experience that counts it is what they pay for.

Jules., 19 Mar 2020Not competitive? What about people who doesn't want this us... moreIt's better to have the option for those that do want it. Even if you don't want it, there's the option to change it to 60hz in settings.

I believe through Modding we will be able to increase the refresh rate. Any words on the touch response tho?

Meh, Xiaomi is 'artificially' slowing down the upgrades to be able to provide at least something new with each new gen. We've reached the point when there's virtually no significant improvement with new gens, whether it's cameras or performance (500k or 700k score in antutu... Who cares at this point,

That moment when you are more hyped for the Redmi K30 than this year flagships - except maybe Sony and Oppo

What about people who doesn't want this useless technology (it's literally useless, it has no useful usage at all). I don't want to pay more for somethin that will reduce the so precious battery life. It's just a gimmick on smartphones, and so many tech enthousiasts fell in the marketing trap.

YES, I could not have hoped for a better screen. This is the perfect phone for me, no useless gimmicky battery consuming high refresh rate. Hopefully it will have a jack.

                      60Hz isn't competitive in 2020, 90Hz is minimum.

                        I get rog 3 or bs3 instead

Looks good so far for me , but the only downside is not having high refresh rate display like the regular K30

there's ALWAYS a catch. what's even the point of BIGGEST VAPOR CHAMBER if it's not even good as a modern gaming phone? disappointing and a good opportunity for other phone maker to one up them.
