At this point, the demand for Mi 10 Pro in China is simply too high, and a pre-order will take several weeks to get filled. By the end of March, P40 series and Honor 30 Series will be introduced, and a large number of buyers will re-directed to P40, P40Pro, P40Premuim, Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30S. The demand for P40 series and Honor 30 series will be even higher. The supply side of Mi 10 Pro will eventually catch up in April.

The decision is made by Xiaomi (India), not Xiaomi (headquarter), to introduce any specific model to India. Due to extreme price sensitivity of the Indian market, once a smartphone hits a certain price point, the sale volume will drop precipitately, regardless the actual justification of such a price. In order to move the volume in Indian market, the phone has to be priced below ~$250. Xiaomi Mi 10 series will not sell well in India. I don't know whether they will be able to sell more than 100000 units, the minimum number needed to make such an introduction economically viable. If the sale is not that good, they probably will not introduce Xiaomi Mi Mix series, which will be released in the second half of the year and will be priced much higher than Mi 10 series.

Xiaomi Mi 10 series is selling very well in China. At the moment, production capacity of Mi 10 Pro can not meet the demand of pre-orders. This is why Mi 10 is introduced to India before Mi 10 Pro. The initial reception of Mi 10 in India market will help Xiaomi determine how many Mi 10 Pro they should allocate for Indian market.

No telephone or zoom camera. 100 Megapixel is a gimmick.

Macro and depth are huge mistake.
Should be 2x for vanilla, then let better "zoom" for Pro.

1000 $ for Mi 10 Pro on aliexpres!!!
for base model which MSRP is 720 $ Mi 10 Pro
Ok there is profit for the resellers, but 280 $ more !!?????

                      We just buy else

But why they are not launching the Pro variant in India ?. I think they are making big mistake here of not launching the Pro variant. According to me the Pro variant will sell more units than the vanilla variant.

I think this MI series flagship came to India after a very long time since MI 4 I guess. I don't know why they stopped it. I am Glad MI 10 is here. Let's see how ur fairs in the market

40000 rupees pricing against one plus
