used to owned two of these phones... the camera was the main weakness... even gcam do not do much to help.. not really comfortable to use . . however, redmi note 3 pro have large number of developer backing up this phone & keep the phone alive .. it really smooth once you manage to install custom rom in this & the bootloader can be unlocked using unofficial method & can be relock.. it is a truly a developer friendly device.

Had one, loved it, except for when i went to watch slipknot concert and audio on the footage i took was muffled.
Overall its a great phone, value for money. Loved the excellent battery the most.

The RN3P was a awesome phone that still works great today , the only reason I changed to the RN7 it's because the Note 7 has more bands and I need them to travel through my beautiful country

Well it was a really good phone for its time. I remember I got it in second sale. At that time MIUI was much better than it is now. No ads and no content recommendations. Loved MIUI but now it's a different story altogether.

i still have mine. I "upgraded" to the samsung A8 (2018) and it felt slower... unfortunately I have to keep using that one because the network I'm on upgraded to frequencies the Note 3 doesn't support.

Redmi note 3 pro, that' show it's called here, truly redefined what a budget smartphone can do and what makes redmi note series the king of budget phones until now. Just one problems with the launch of redmi note 3 pro, xiaomi also introduced one huge stupid mistake, in which you have to wait 168 hours or more just to unlock the bootloader. Though that clearly didn't stop me from owning redmi note 3, 4 pro, 4x, 7 and 8 pro.

The reason it was so popular is because it created a new range of phones, higher mid-range which is thanks to Qualcomm. The performance was pretty close to flagships. The only gripes were poor durability and camera (fixed with GCam). Phone ages extremely well for a midrange phone but the eMMC will slow down the performance in long-term.

Still have the kenzo - 3GB/32GB version. It just works. Apart from the USB port problem once (got a connecting wire loose, not the connector itself, and it was repaired almost free of cost too), it's still rocking as a secondary phone. The developer support is so nice they've put out Android 10 for it. And a lot of ROMs too. There's even monitor mode for wifi available, on the integrated wireless card (although no packet injection, putting it a step behind the Galaxy s2 or Nokia N900, as far as hacker-friendly phones go).
Bottom line, I wouldn't be surprised finding Android 11 for it, once it gets out and devs get their hands on it

Still using my Redmi Note 3 Pro. A little bit laggy and battery life has deteriorated massively but it's nothing annoying. It still manage to serve its purpose. This thing is a beast for its price!

Kenzo still remains a star to most of mi fans. I have had most of mi phones since note 3 and 5 yrs later they've emerged as superior, displacing the big dogs.

I bought one, 16gb version and i exchange it with moto x play in unofficial market for three reasons.
Moto x play has better camera, dedicated microsd card and stock android even though redmi note 3 has better battery and better processor.
No regret and my brother older buy note 4 and it was good, my younger brother buy redmi note 5 but it was one of the most fragile phone ever.

after 3 years+ my phone is on news again ! hahahahaha anyway trying to change a new phone already due to outdated parts but the phone is still functional though
