The macro sensor has been proven to be utterly useless (you get better 'macro' shots by taking photo with the main sensor and cropping that one) and so is depth sensor (GCcam does better portrait shots with software bokeh).
Personally I hate these 'fake' cameras, I'd much rather have just main+wide sensors - I have no need to impress my friends with fake 'premium' phone, I might as well just slap an Apple logo on it, it's the same cringe.

Am I the only one who thinks that midrange manufacturers adds the usual macro and depth cameras only due to marketing? :D
They have no added value, but the phone looks more premium. I always think on these as dummy cameras, though I am not sure wether I am right or not. Personally I would be much more happy with a zoom camera (not periscope style as that one is quite expensive).
And macro camera with 2MP?! Come on, it is not 2005...

As for the phone itself... Not great, not terrible I guess. I don't see much reason in paying extra for the 5G support right now and the rest of the package just doesn't seem too impressive for the price. It should've had either telephoto camera or a high refresh screen to stand out, the way it is there's absolutely no reason to go for it over lets say Redmi K20 Pro (less price, better CPU)
