I have LGV30+ and ... moreUse big phones from 2015, huawei mate 1 (6.1in - 163.5x85.7mm), nubia z11 max (6.0in 159.2x85.3mm) , vivo nex (6.59in 162x77mm), huawei mate 20x (7.2in 174.6x85.4mm), vivo nex 3s (6.89in 167.4x76.1mm) neve had problems, i prefer a big screen than force my eyes, same now seems phone have a standard between 6.4 to 6.7. 2021 reduce screen sizes few inches

Same tiny batteries! I don't understand when will LG work on big batteries and faster software upgrades! LG is such a great brand with premium built phones but if battery is not gonna last it does not make sense to have premium features if you can't use them!

Oh, why are these phones getting so big. I have LGV30+ and LGV40+ and LGG7+. the most comfortable and efficient phone for daily use and to put in my pocket is the LGG7+ its plenty big enough and the 845 Snapdragon functions well. the G8 is the same as the G7 but only with updated Snapdragon + amoled screen. I definitely will not buy these giant LG G9 or V60, ridiculous size and silly prices!

I'll stay with my opinion: it's oversized. The design looks nice and the renders make it look good, but 6.7"? Possibly even more? Come on ...
Now if it had the size of the Samsung Galaxy S10e I'd be sold.

I'm sure the specs on this will satisfy a majority of people while the price will lure in those that think $1,000 is too much to pay for a phone. My issue is that LG is likely to only upgrade the OS once and continue its track record of only providing security patches every 5-6 months for about a year or so. So, in its favor will be price alongside 5G, a good camera and probably excellent sound, but the security and servce will likely be poor.

1. Pay $700 for a midranger phone for 5G support.
2. Wonder why you paid so much for a mediocre phone just for the 5G support even though it doesn't exist yet in most places.
3. By the time there's a reasonable 5G coverage in your country, there's 5G chipset in basically all 200$ phones which are better in every single way than your old overpriced LG, which you already either broke or wore out the battery anyway.
