Galaxy Fold 2 rumor-based renders show a much cooler design

This design is actually pretty good, so lets hope this is the case.
I'll probably wait for them to figure out how to use glass on the folding screen before buying such an expensive device though. I am not buying a $2000+ device only for it to get unrepairable fingernail dents during its first usage week.

[deleted post]Moving parts reduce the durability of handhelds. They will give up easier over time. What are you talking about?

Looks pretty good though it still a few years too early before i will feel comfortable spending all that cash on a foldable phone

Someone explain why the rear camera module couldn't have been fit next to the smaller display or on top, so that the 2 front cameras could be avoided!

[deleted post]Where I'm from doesn't change the fact that moving parts don't negatively impact a phone.

Even though I still strongly believe that only the "flip" folding style has a future, I gotta say, this one does look pretty damn neat.

Now with the thickness of 3 phones stacked or may be 2 and half? Nah, I'll call it 3.
The only advantages to these is they'll have more time for practice and perfection before the actual era of foldables.
Which is a bit redundant because most of them manufacturers just figure it out all at the same time So I guess Samsung is doing R&D for everyone else.

joe nodden, 27 Mar 2020Ugh literally not a reason to include one at all. And even ... morePop up cameras in a folding phone? Too much mechanical movements that compromise the integrity of the phone dude.
