mNiosu, 27 Mar 2020Mi 10 Pro is 1000EURO/$. It's stupid expensive. If OnePlus... morePlease, this has ufs 3, you are right about the ip rating which is a certificate that cost money, i dont think oneplus has that either.

So one plus gonna price the 8 pro @1100 or1200€

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2020No it isn't. Maybe in your country. But worldwide, Mi 10 ... moreI just watched the presentation smart ass. I seems you haven't.
Mi10 starts at 800, Pro at 1000. That is $/Euro for most of the world except India or China.
The prices you converted there in $ are for China only or maybe imports from China resellers, not for official international version

1000 Euros, 27 Mar 20201000 Euros, 1000 Euros !!! No way, it's a money grab. Get ... moreExactly, especially that now because of the virus many people lost their jobs or get less money. People care now about paying the rents and those who need new phones will look at the prices. No way people would give 1000 Euros for a Xiaomi. None of my friends have Xiaomi and they looked at me like I was nuts when I got the mi 9. They even said 320 Euros was much for a brand they don't know.

Nobody in Europe will pay 800€+ for a Xiaomi phone where iPhones and Samsungs are kings. They didn't make huge sales even with the mi 9 128GB being offered weeks long for 320€ in Germany. The people who buy Xiaomis buy them because they are cheap, if the price is comparable to iPhone and Samsung everybody will go for these.

Just look at the price of Xiaomi mi Note 10, was released for 600€, nobody bought it and now it is 400€ and people still don't buy. Do they think they will buy with 1000€? haha

Do not expect to be cheaper this year.
Maybe 200-300 less than its cousin Find X2 Pro

                  Mi10 128GB = 800 euros
                  Mi10 256GB = 900 euros
                  Mi10 Pro 256GB = 1000 euros.

Where is the guy that always say Xiaomi charges 1/3 and offers 2x compare to Apple, Sony, Samsung and Huawei?

Pretty upset the 10 Pro isn't coming to the UK. £699 for the Mi 10 isn't bad, but will definitely be looking to forward to see what OnePlus have to offer with regards to price.

But worldwide, Mi 10 Pro, base model with 128gb storage costs around 700$ while the 512gb/12gb RAM version retails at around 900-950$.

OnePlus 8 pro will start at 900$ for base model.

mNiosu, 27 Mar 2020Mi 10 Pro is 1000EURO/$. It's stupid expensive. If OnePlus... moreIn EU,on their official website 7t Pro is 760euro/$840...surely 8 Pro will be more expensive... they've all raised prices lately, but still I'd rather give my thousand euro,bucks...to Xiaomi or OP than to Sammy,Fruit,Huawei...

[deleted post]Well I was the first person to visit Mars so yeah..

Another difference between the Pro and vanilla that y'all glossed over: vanilla has a bigger battery. I don't care about telephoto so the vanilla would tick my buttons. Such a shame that it doesn't have expanded memory or headphone jack. Not like I can choose the Redmi pro while I'm in the US.

                              Nicely puted, mate..
We should wait for the pricing of the two,at least in EU..Stock Android Vs.Heavy custom Android,I prefer the latter but I reckon Mi10 will have superior cameras..

It's stupid expensive. If OnePlus manages to sell it's 8 Pro at 800-850$ top, it will be a far better deal than Mi10Pro even without that 108MP camera. Just the stability of the OS it's worth going OnePlus.
Last year I was disappointed the OP "settled" with such big prices but this year Xiaomi takes the crown for stupid pricing.
It's a direct competitor in princing to Samsung, Apple and Huawei now but still cutting corners in things like software, image processing, USB transfer, IP rating etc.
                                Good luck with that Xiaomi!

Thus far, the year 2020 is all about Xiaomi Mi 10/Mi 10 Pro versus OnePlus 8/8 Pro.

All the four aforementioned phones are strong on features, so ultimately it will be the affordability of these phones that shall determine their success.

We the people now expect and demand, high-wattage fast charging, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.x high-performance storage interface, USB 3.1 Type-C on-the-go port, IP67+ ingress protection rating (sanitisation of one's phone from SARS-COV-2 has become a priority, and no longer a luxury and preserve of flagship phones), not to mention the ever-increasing camera specs, flicker-free phones (90+ Hz refresh rate), and 8+ GB RAM.

Unfortunately it appears both the 3.5mm audio jack and support for storage cards are very rarely offered by high-end phones.

Who is gonna have my money - Xiaomi or OnePlus ?
