Google Duo ups group video calling limit to 12 participants

Duo is ok. Have a few friends i communicate with on it but i think WhatsApp is Champ for one on one chats..never used either Duo or WhatsApp for multiple ppl chats or conferencing. I think Zoom has seen major usability and downloads since the CV problem.

My pure android phone have this app too but I never even use it and can't uninstall it. Lol.

It IS well and alive. It got a front row seat on the Galaxies, being integrated in the phone and messaging app.

Sure, Messneger/Whatsapp ain't as foolproof and streamlined as Duo, but Duo has had a serious bug (for years now). In Duo, when one caller starts using speaker, the other caller will start hearing themselves... Really, really bad echo!
