n now still looking for a phone with one front
camera n one back camera which is optional
12mp back n 5mp front is more than enough
and very big battery n fast charging n efficient chipset
no need for a high end so long as it is battery efficient

quad camera, one is a depth sensor, one is a useless macro, one is a fugking wide-angle, so ultimately it's a single camera

it possible will have 164mm _ 167mm size
very big size for a low midrange
but if size of it be something 6.58inch like P40 PRo...will be so good....158.2mm or even lower
don't make low midrange phones like monsters

I'd be very surprised if the 13MP unit in Note 9 will take better photos. That will take iPhone and Google level digital post-processing to achieve. They probably want people to spend more on the Note 9 Pro.

100 cameras is quite impossible to happen, unless it's multiple times the same sensor like on Nokia 9 PureView, and that didn't seem to help it.
Big sensors and high megapixel with pixel binning seems to be the future.
100 cameras for 360 pictures/videos maybe? I don't see anything else.

With them u don't know what to expect,and sometimes is great surprise. Also budget devices are better and better. Before 2 years I paid device with cortex a73 more than 300€. Now we can get a75 for 100€. That is great progress and everyone deserve fluid phone.

Redmi 9 is more of RealMe C3 competitor, with Redmi Note 9 being RealMe 6i competitor, and Redmi Note 9 pro supposedly being RealMe 6 Pro competitor.
But RealMe have move up the "6" price segment so, its not direct competitor anymore.

The camera is a downgrade. The redmi 8 had one of the best sensors imx363 with dual pixel af. I bet this 13mp sensor is ov13855
