MBN, 11 May 2012Or maybe there was a good enough demand for the device to m... moreIf it were positive news, the carriers would be embracing it and providing a subsidy...

The tragedy here is that without subsidies, this will cost anyone buying it full whack ($600+?) and then a contract on top of that...

It's dead in the water before it's even released...

I've always said that this was purely a tech demo handset to show off the Pureview capabilities - this will give it slightly more exposure until the inevitable Lumia Pureview Winmo8 next year... but sales-wise it's going to be a major flop... which I suspect they already knew, by putting the dying Symbian on there and slapping the worst resolution screen a mobile has seen in about 5 years on it...

Hopefully not cost more than $600usd, current price in UK just crazy 500 pounds, rather get the S3 over that.

Now they need to boost their sales after all. That's what nokia gets for solely relying on the windows platform. Well done Mr. Elop (sarcasm).

Somehow everything Nokia does now seems an after-thought after the not-so-good sales of the Lumia series.

Hope they have some good sales with their upcoming Windows 8 devices and the good Symbian ones. My N9 will, sadly, remain an exclusive/elusive device.

Or maybe there was a good enough demand for the device to make it prudent to launch in NA? Why does everything have to be negative?
