LG bring back Schneider-Kreuznach optics pls

    They take clue from Xiaomi, bring back the infrared, keep the headphone jack, dual SIM and dedicated SD card slot. Increased ram size and large memory capacity LG has always been good with there camera. These are the minimum requirements to compete in the smartphone midrange market,

              Now there will rise a LG V60 Pro/Plus for this, I guess.

                Why did they let their QHD+ OLEDs go away?? Those panels were even better than Samsung's 8-bit panels.
                All the V60 needed is updated internals and have both higher screen refresh rate (preferably 120Hz but 90Hz won't be bad) and larger battery to compensate for it.
                Had they done this, they can easily outpace Samsung, especially with the disappointment of the S20 Ultra.

                Why let go of that telephoto camera? Even Sony felt the true competition and had to upgrade theirs to 3x optical zoom, and Google even finally brought it to the game last year, as they have realized that it is a mandatory camera feature for flagships (there are barely any mid rangers with telephoto cameras).
                So sad for this downhill transition, but I guess whatever works best for LG will do. Hope they can regain their reputation as a powerful compelling smartphone brand that they had before.

                  I'm rooting for you LG because Samsung is becoming like Apple. Please stay with 3.5 mm jack, stereo speaker and microSD card for G series if you are keeping it.

                    LG and Samsung, both are following 2 flagship lineup . But where Samsung is beautifully operating both series. LG is lagging in both of them. They are living in 2017 with notch, physical fingerprint sensor, no high FPS, Slowest Software updates, same UI from G3 and no innovation in recent years.

                      What LG could have done to keep G alive for example.

                      - 6.2" for G , 6.5" for V
                      - G with 52mm cam, V with 80mm
                      - G with simpler UWA cam than V
                      - G with 4G for locations that 5G is not ready, while V 5G for North America, Europe and East Asia.
                      - G with less battery than V
                      - G without rear ToF

                      In this case, G would be like a V50 with updated internals, but without 5G.

                        Now sammyboys demand all other OEMs to put.

                              Yes!!!! Finally LG you have my attention. Now make sure you put some unique feature on the phone. Otherwise I will buy Sony 21,9 Want infared! Dual Micro SD card support. Stereo speakers. Micro HDMI port. No camera BUMP!!!

                                One more that will be bashed because using 21:9 (like they were before).
                                When Samsung or chinese brand adopts 21:9 entirely, critics will vanish.

                                  LG really does not know how to differentiate itself. Companies need to look at Huawei, they really excite the user, unlike any other offering. I mean P40 Pro Plus (an unconventional name, I know) has a 10x optical zoom for god sake!! Beating even the S20 Ultra!!!

                                      V50 was pinacle of LG power and now its time for another downhill action.

                                      V40 was first 5 camera phone. Amazing everyone followed. Only negative low batery but also.light.

                                      V50 is revamp of v40 eith bugger battery, new chip and dual screen support. Killer phone of 2019 probably the best.

                                      V60 - no ultra wide selfie and no zoom backcamera for portets...

                                      G series after g7 kinda random with no real stand out feature that isnt gimmick. G9 pension.
                                      Mi note 10 rapes it before seeing the light of the day.

                                        While LG V60 is high specs, if G series go to midrange then LG have no flagship.. Even the Chocolate lineup using midrange chip... Wth LG?
