Alleged Redmi Note 9 spotted at 3C with 4G connectivity, 22.5W fast charging support

A few days ago there was a 5G member of the Redmi family that also went through 3C certification and featured 22.5W charging.

          Redmi note 8 just got its last beta on android 9. Next update will be on 10.

                    All 5G phones are also 4G phones. In general, a typically well-made 5G phone can function as a better 4G phone, in terms of thermal efficiency and modem performance. If you still live in a place without 5G service, you should start treating 5G phones as 'a kind of' 4G phones. You are not paying any '5G premium' which is rapidly approaching zero. Before the end of 2020, we should see 5G phones priced competitively against 4G phones in all price segments (from $150).

Yes, D800, D1000L and D1000 all come with integrated 5G modem. Except for Redmi 9 (G80, 4G) and Redmi Note 9 (SD720G, 4G), all other Redmi phones all be 5G phones. Redmi K30 (SD730G, 4G) will be discontinued as soon as the current stock is out.

                      Starting with the 2nd half of 2020, even Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Note will be 5G phones. No more 'pure' 4G phones from Xiaomi or Redmi. The same is also true with Vivo.

                        From Note 3 to 4 where it barely equal in power but more efficient in 4 ,
                        to Note 5 to 6 which even have same chipset.

                        This is a 6 month cycle so, no way it'll be big update on every update.

                                Now this is actually interesting, because test have basically 'proven' that Redmi Note 9 Pro is a successor to Redmi Note 8 (N9 Pro's camera < N8 Pro's camera < N9 Pro Max's camera). Even the performance of RN9 Pro/Max is almost unnoticeably better than previous gen, so I really have no idea just how much worse they could RN9 (non-pro) make to still be at least "some" kind of improvement over non-pro RN8...

                                Or maybe they'll just advertise is as a phone with "beast design" like they did with RN9 Pro... If you can't offer good specs or low price, charge the user for the phone's "beast design", even if it looks like every other phone out there.
