Otherwise, team up with 5 people (I think that six people per license make it very handy for a couple and parents of both of them). In an instant, 99 dollar a year turns into 17 dollar a year (convert to your local currency and count in dealers' promotions - I've been buying my O365 Home subscription for some €60/year for 3 years). Is it still that much?
I don't despise OpenOffice/LibreOffice but when I wanted to write my thesis with it, it started to mess up with things. Especially formatting was a major pain. Maybe I didn't use it correctly and needed just some guide/tutorial but I needed to focus on the research, not on the means to do it.

Still expensive for me as a student. I'll take Open Office any day LOL.

the charge for office365 probably have to lower a bit for the next 12 months, or many users have to seek alternatives in this economy downturn.

From office365 to the microsoft365, looked like it is just a change on the name. there had always been features improving or adding in all the apps in the past. I had been thinking if the license payment of the windows could be included in the xxx365 package too. this should not cause a large increase in the yearly charge of course.

Adobe did not understand a workable yearly charge to general persons. Charging US$100 for a year is a easy spending to general persons. charging US$480 for all its apps for one year of usage is a different story.

Nice move by MS. Sells $200 office per 3 year but barely people buy it. But 'lend' people $99 for up to 6 people, and you get cash, certain, stable cash money every year.

Gru , 01 Apr 2020Honestly, why it is used a iPhone like photo to describe this!?? Oh come on who cares about such things

"All those users will be moved to the new plans automatically. Plus,"

The suspense is killing me. Finish that sentence please!

But more seriously, I hope they don't say this is an excuse to raise the price later on, praising "the immense value of the package".
