If it actually has a flagship processor, 3 gb of RAM, a decent camera and a headphone jack, it'll be a lot of people's first iPhone.
... but it's hard to believe Apple's gonna offer better bang for buck than top Android manufacturers

Smart Apple, they haven't probably spend a dime on research for this phone, yet it's gonna make them a lot of money, especially if it has the same i11 camera.

This is excellent news for the mobile market. Consumers will have more choice when buying a midrange device once the iPhone 9 is launched. After observing most of the mobile users in my area I find that most people don't care about what OS or how long a company supports the device. Most people care only about the brand value and Apple is the top contender in terms of brand value in India. I see a lot of Android folks moving to iOS because of the iPhone 9.
