I barely use the word, but in this case: "lol". Keeping a phone below 1000$ is worth tweeting about nowadays? How did oneplus get from 300$ to 600$ (base models) in just 5 years? Did tech got so much more expensive? It's not like they use 144hz screens and periscope cameras in their base models right now. Even 5g to 4g connectivity is not what i compare here. It's simply that the price doubled for quite the same specs (based on release date the specs are "solid" but not perfect in the base model). Also: customers don't earn double now, maybe not even 5% more. If you want to keep your customers to upgrade every 1-2 years you HAVE to cap the price at the lowest price of any iphone which is 800$ for the iphone 11 right now and not, !not at all! go above it. It's just as simple as this: if you can buy the market leading product cheaper than the competition, why buy into the competition? Don't do the HTC...

Fingers crossed if OnePlus will truly come with flagship features. I've not used an OnePlus phone but I see almost every tech YouTuber talking good things about OnePlus phones.

I'm not sure how improved camera will be, but for me camera is less important and Display, Performance, Vibration motor, stereo speakers are more important. also better if it can use high brightness mode in HDR content, my Galaxy S20 Ultra don't have high brightness mode for HDR, only for sun light.

I want Nylon case for OnePlus 8 Pro, I had Nylon case on 7 Pro and I loved it, cuz it does make phone big, compared to other cases.

OnePlus better put in all the goodies like waterproofing and wireless charging into their phones if they want to price higher. As per my understanding, OnePlus became popular because of the Flagship Killer tag it had but now things have changed and they are charging their phones like premium flagships.
