Syuser, 05 Apr 2020P40 pro it's by far the best ever camera in a mobile phone.... moreSony are severly underrated and ignored. Yes, their prices are high but they make great smartphones that are consumer-friendly, unlike Samsung with their almost-impossible-to- remove batteries and Apple with their hard-to-replace back glass. Never buying from Samsung again. Also not a fan of the Chinese brands e.g. Huawei, they're sketchy, straight up.

But... Xperia will hit the last to be the best!

S20 Ultra - bad zoom, bad focus, bad battery, slow display in full res, +Exynos version adds insult to the injury.
P40 Pro Plus - terrible camera UI, unusable ultrawide, unobnatium until June, possibly later.
Screw them, this year I'll pass.

AlienFromNextDoor, 03 Apr 2020Anyone smart enough won't waste money on these bricks anymore.Indeed there are still phones on the market like Xperia X compact or XZ1 compact that are ultra sufficient for their main purpose still fast enough for their age. Nowadays most of the latest phones are bricks that so are overall so useless... Expensive and radiating... AND NO ONE NEEDS 5G!

"phone shipments in 2020 will be the lowest in a decade" As the market dictates ... and will prices return, like those of 10 years ago?
