Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, works on Verizon and for the poor guy this is an upgrade, unlike the rest of you all who can afford the high end contract phone and the poor man can not, and the prepaid is the phones that have already been in the market for you rich folks right now the Iphone is the in phone. me I like my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim and it works great in my area.

Samsung isn't too blame for releasing a low end phone from ST on Verizon. Verzion has to approve and contract all phones that they will allow ST to offer on their network. Verizon is the one that has kept ST from releasing an Android phone till now.

And as someone that will NEVER sign another cell phone contract this is a good thing especially since it works on the verizon network... in my area the sprint network is horrid so while YOU may feel there are enough galaxy phones on the market some of us are really glad to see something affordable for the prepaid market

I just neet something that will WORK on the Straight Talk system. All these newer "SPRINT" phones are not working in my area. The signal fluctuates between 1 and 3 bars---mostly just one bar. Calls drop like crazy. Now, if this Proclaim runs off of the Verizon network, I would be willing to try it. When I had the Verizon phone before, the signal was much stronger and I did not have to GO OUTSIDE to GET a signal. However, I have heard and read conflicting reports of the Proclaim being powered by networks other than Verizon.

what's the point to release such model with "not too much different than the other" specs??? it will make the model less memorable.. and more forgetable.. and also confusing as a bonus.. LOL
