Nick Tagataka, 04 Apr 2020Jeez, couldn't Xiaomi do anything about that thick af stem?... moreSo you're saying that the Airpod makes you look like a prick & Mi Air makes you look like an even thicker prick?

Jeez, couldn't Xiaomi do anything about that thick af stem? Because of that it looks so much uglier than Airpods or similar earphones produced by other Chinese companies.

Memory foam ear tips do help with both but still can ideal. Earbuds on the other hand have a problem with low bass and sub bass reproduction thanks to their open nature.

Davy Jones, 03 Apr 2020Far better deal than Overpriced airpodsStill I don't recommend buying from Mi any wireless buds bcz I feel they are not worth it as my Airdots became faulty so easily. And the previous versions didn't have the best of specs for the price either. Try any earbuds from Soundcore if you want a good earbuds for the price. They have really good ones. Even Realme ones are great it you are willing to import it from India.

Far better deal than Overpriced airpods

For the amount of technology inside (touch sensors, IR sensors.) at this price, they're a steal - atleast for the people who're into such stuff anyway.

Would have like an in ear design, for the added assurance that I won't fall off the ear.

I have the original Air Pro 2. The are very comfortable. Bur the battery life is a huge problem. I usualy walk to work which takes 10 minutes one way and I have to charge the phones every 4-5 days which is odd because they say that the phonea should last at least 10 times more. Tge sound quality is good and the IR detection is a nice touch.

                                Was the airpod design necessary?

using a widely available codec support is nice.
But they look a bit too thick...
