I hope you won't cry now.. This is a data until 2018.. So after launching iPhone xs series and iPhone 11 series, the percentage of iPhone 5 series gone below.. Even maybe I've said more about the percentage numbers I guess XD..

    Even the original comment didn't mean that. The lifespan massively depends how one does use his device more and more years.. I'm obviously not denying the support of iPhone which maybe a issue for using iPhones longer (although Apple never likes that).. But that process doesn't work at rest of the world outside of Northh America or Europe in some position..

    Look at my given information, where people are using way more percentage of older android versions.. And this is the exact image platform lifespan of older device..

But we are talking about play store revenue. Emulation is good but I don't think it can generate more income to the Google like the article says.

                  And emulation is not easy. It will need more CPU power. Average SOC handling Emulation is nothing but crap.

All are running iOS 12 or later. iPhone 6 was supported until last year which 2as released in 2014. 5 freaking years brother. Which android phone from 2014 had more than 3 or 4 years of support? I guess non.

                    Lifespan on Android is way worst than it looks. I only choose Android cuz my workload demands me to. If lifespan and gaming is my priority i will not hesitate to buy the latest iPhone. And i will be covered for the next 5 years at least.

Where until 2019 there were 7% of people still using KitKat 4.4, 14.5% were Lolipop 5 and 5.1, 17% were marshmallow.. So which platform has more old users? That's what the comment meant.. Android has a wider base of audience than iOS, it's more diverse in it's user base so compatibility across different devices is more of a hassle than with iOS. Still, a proper android phone has longer lifespan than any iPhone Apple can crap out of China.

                                Its no brainner people had nothing to do so they overplayed every game on store haha.
                                Well covid19 is a demon but it have some positive aspects too.

                                  Play Store is doing pretty well considering they have zero access to the chinese market and also faces competition from other Android stores

                                    Understandable cuz Apps Store has better quality apps and way better optimized games if you compare with Google play.

                                    Coming from a Galaxy s20 plus there no games in this platform that can challenge the hardware which i have. Apple arcade has beautiful and very good games for my 3 year old iPad.
