Phone with 192MP camera and Snapdragon 765G chipset coming next month

07 April 2020
A mid-ranger phone getting the highest resolution sensor ever? Why not, the Mi Note 10 was the first to go north of 100MP and it had the 730G chip.

Crazy how not too long ago we all thought the Megapixel race ended at 41MP with the Nokia 808/Lumia 1020

Wake me up when we get to Terapixels please.

These binning sensors are diseased with autofocus issues. They just can't focus properly. Even with IR beams assisting them.

Anyway companies are binning them to 12 mp so they should just stop the binning thing and get large pixels there with the great dual pixel AF. Andd get done with it.

Oh but then midrangers will compete with flagships.... I think binning sensors were made to keep the low costing phones diff from flagships. Of course s20ultra uses binning. Exception there. But it's AF is bad. S20 and plus are way better

          Just numbers on paper!
We need more DR, OIS, EIS, better focus, better filming.
Don't care if is with 8,12, 16mp! All these numbers are good enough for us.

Whackcar, 07 Apr 2020Sensor size > Megapixels Samsung is taking the wrong ... moreNative Pixel Size > Sensor Size.

all the sensor you see are not actually the size they claim to be, only Pixel Size is true to the marketing they make.

Sensor size is just 70% of what they claim to be in mobiles, unlike like DSLR.

              another high megapixel useless sensor

                Sensor size > Megapixels

Samsung is taking the wrong approach with their sensors.
