The fact remains that Samsung out sells Apple by itself. Mostly due to the Galaxy sales. Galaxy 3 will be a Iphone killer until a new Iphone comes out to level the playing field.

iOS is ONE os on ONE device.
Android is ALOT of OSses to ALOT of device.
No sense in commenting market share that way.

Talk about diversity in the android range...so many gpu and cpu and memory moduels it's really impressive. Android just works on anything. iOS does too, but it cant claim the same awesomeness cause it just supports a few devices.

So, no, customer didn't get the OS for free. For comparison, even Lumia 710 is cheaper than Galaxy W (by a slight margin, but still cheaper) which held the same specs (1.4GHz single core, 512MB RAM, 5MP cam, same 480p TFT display, etc) in my country where cellphones always sold unlocked (no subsidiaries from anyone).

if android is so great and advance how come it we still need a task manager and a memory booster to manager the apps, should it now how to manage it right without us.

Whut he's saying is that Android is like in gazillion of manufacturers while iOS is only in Apple products and yet the difference of the sales is very minimal. I think it's really freaking impressive to make an OS which works on such a huge number of phones containing different kinds of hardware. Apple only has to worry about its own software. Hey, wait! If Apple is only worrying about their own software (since they only make one phone), then why isn't that software super innovative and progressing all the time..?
