LG V60 is your answer. Beats the pricing of op8 and is the battery champion and audio and definitely better camera and a dual-screen.

The prices for the OP8 are incorrect! Otherwise, they will lose many customers!

Same size display with same refresh rate and resolution, same main and ultrawide cameras but has 2x instead of macro. It has the 855+ instead of 865 which is probably where a price increase has come from but it is still a good processor. Smaller battery but it is £549 new whereas the 8 is looking to be £649 atleast and the 7t will probably go down in price once the 8 is out

Oneplus chief already promised that the highest variant of OP 8 Pro will not touch $1000 mark then how it is possible the pricing in your article touches €1,020

I'm disappointed by the OnePlus 8. The sensor from the 7 series and a macro instead of a telephoto. Yeah it has a bigger battery and better processor than the 7t but that will be discounted once the 8 comes out so anyone looking for a good OnePlus they might aswell get that. And from my calculations in UK this phone will be minimum £50 more expensive.
The OnePlus 8 pro on the other hand I quite like, the same standard and ultra wide camera setup from x2 pro which people like. Supposedly a brilliant display, a decent size battery, 30w wireless charging and supposedly a equivalent charger to sell along side it and finally ip68. All for a base price for from my calculations is probably about the same as a 4g S20 standard size in the UK at probably £799 and top model 1+8 pro is only equal to 5g S20 standard at probably £899. Still completely different to the OnePlus ones philosophy of being half the price of the competition and still be in the competition but with the price of all the components going up it makes sense. The 1+8 is the equivalent to the 1+1 this year with brilliant 1080p display, good sized phone with decent camera and top dollar flagship specs everywhere else.

Gautam M, 09 Apr 2020I think these leaks are not reliable as pete lau mentioned ... moreBut prices suffer changes after updates and taxes...

The competition offer better phones at those prices. If you phone lacks of features like expandable memory and jack, at least offer cameras enough good for what you are asking, but in this case are poor ones compared of what Huawei and Xiaomi offer at those prices. But for me even better go for a Honor 30, or wait and see what Meizu 17 or Asus Zenphone 7 offer. Redmi also have some interesting phones and the the Mi Note 11 sure will be another one. It's only a matter of time that the low demand this year will adjust some prices and then let you profit it.

Really high price, too high display for comfort and ease to use (big hand here), curved screen and battery eating too much high refresh rate for a smartphone...

I would going more for a oneplus 7 or 7t the added features with the new ones are not enough and importanti to justify the high price difference.
5g isn't as good to replace 4g now and is expensive, 865 Vs 855 well not much difference unless your concern is absolutely being faster, even faster of your brain fart.
Only concern would be the software support now that this smartphone are out on market for a while.

Shame Oneplus almost always make good price/performance smartphone but not this time. Hope for a not too much castrated lite version

I think these leaks are not reliable as pete lau mentioned earlier in an interview that thecost of highest model of oneplus 8 pro will be less than the cost of basic model of s20 series.... Which is $999

The Standard OnePlus 8 has last years specs, but without the telephoto. Why would you pay €729 for it? last years LPDDR4 Ram, last year's IMX 586 camera sensor, same 90Hz screen, no wireless charger. If you want 2019 specs, buy a 2019 phone, they are cheaper now.

There is NO POINT in buying any new phone now that does not support 5G. It's coming soon and why get yesterday's tech? Old pre-5G tech phones will be easily and heavily discounted very soon to move old stock.

OnePlus has managed to bring the weight down for 8Pro even with a bigger display, bigger battery, wireless charging, and an additional camera. Some of this true for the 8 as well. I can appreciate this.

You know what folks, as the Chinese manufacturers (OPPO, Xiaomi, OnePlus) have graced stratospheric pricing on their flagship wannabes, one might as well do justice to their hard-earned cash and pay for a proper flashship device - enter stage right, the Sony Xperia 1 II.

The Sony Xperia 1 II is endowed with everything, including a microSD slot and an audio jack (whilst still being rated with IP68) - both of which are notably absent on the flashship wannabe's devices.

It may be a bit hard on the wallet for some, but otherwise is this the only way to turn our backs on the increased arrogance of these Chinese manufactures, to make them realise they've made a serious miscalculation in their pricing strategy ? What your opinion ?
