What exactly is the point of both having wires AND all the disadvantages of "wireless" at the same time (Having to charge them, limited lifespan due to limited battery lifespan, not always hassle-free connection etc) at the same time?

The "wireless" term here is directed toward how they connect to the smartphone, which I think we can all agree is the biggest pain when dealing with connected wires.

I believe OnePlus will eventually make wireless headphones that are not connected together once they can achieve very strong battery performance at a low price. I don't think they will ever abandon this connected design entirely as so many people prefer it.

Everyone says that wireless is "the future", while connecting a freaking cable to be able to use "the future". Hilarious!
