Pretty sure that's why Huawei select an European company as a search engine. Otherwise they could had gone with duckduckgo, Yahoo, or Bing if Google is the only thing they are banned from.

This search engine is way behind of others. Need to grow quickly. I already add the extension to my browser. Lets see how things go

Just use Bing, simple as that. Would be good for both Huawei and Microsoft

Qwant uses more battery life compared to others and if you are really concerned about privacy, it also utilizes Bing's (Microsoft) protocols.

Nice move! At first, i wonder why they didnt go for Bing. But i remember, stay away from US as far as possible...

I have been using Qwant and Startpage as my search engine replacement, and I actually very impressed with both. While I have nothing against Bing, it would definitely be nice to have a privacy-minded version of Bing like Qwant. As for Startpage, goodbye Google Search - you will not be missed.

                                Not bad at all 👍🏻

The main trouble with Qwant, which showcases itself as a privacy-friendly alternative to Google, is that it's an awful search engine. Furthermore, it relies on Bing (Microsoft), so the privacy factor is very much relative.

It's difficult to compete with Google... Granted I'm not some 'privacy freak', but even I wanted to give DuckDuckGo a chance, but the problem is that you simply don't get enough results from these 'alternative' search engines... More often than not you just find yourself frustrated with the results simply because some homemade search engine with a handful of employees can't offer the same service as a multibillion company :(
