iQOO 3 used as a brake pad for BMW 530Li in the ultimate durability test

And here we thought the OEM BMW brake pads are expensive.

All we asked for, was to send them over to JerryRigEverything

YUKI93, 09 Apr 2020Imagine what vivo would do if the iQOO 3 has IP68 and MIL-S... moreIt would perform exactly the same. Most of the phones can easily get those certificates, they just cost money. Some manufacturers skip the certificates then to keep their production costs low.

The ultimate durability test? Ask the "will it blend" guy.

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2020I would care if they performed and showed us drop tests and... moreWhat do you mean drop tests. I use my phone as a brake pedal all the time....said no one ever, haha.

I didn't like Vivo in the first place. Can't lose respect for something / someone you didn't respect in the first place. What a wasteful PR stunt indeed.

What's the point? Oh I forgot how people usually use their phones as backup brake pads when the current ones are worn out...

Before one goes ahead and says there's no Li 5 series. Yes there is in China only.

I would care if they performed and showed us drop tests and edge pressure tests because...you know...people tend to actually drop their phones from the tabletops or from their hands onto concrete or hard floor a few more times in a phone's lifespan rather than stick it into a BMW to use as a break pad?

When companies do these kinds of idiotic PR gimmicks, for wehatever reason, I tend to lose all respect for them and I dont buy the stuff they are hawking.

Why they don't just do a actual durability test instead of these dumb stuff?

                      Doesn't matter.
Still scratches at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7...
