LG Style3 unveiled in Japan: a mid-ranger with S845 chipset, 6.1" QHD+ OLED display

10 April 2020
The old chipset still has a flagship GPU and QHD resolution is more than most mid-rangers get.

Nice specs for a midranger.

I just can't understand LG strategy. If this is wants to rivel Mid range offerings at least it should have a good camera arrangement.

Even Galaxy A50 has 3 cameras including an Wide-angle lens. They are doing the same mistakes as they did with the flagship phones.

I like the idea they use a 845 chip.

marclee37, 10 Apr 2020i do not think japanese would have interest in such lower ... morePhones with 64GB are very popular in Japan.

1440p OLED, SD845 & IP68 are not common on midrangers. So this phone is doing well in it's category.

I think it is the right move to put 1-2 year old flagship SoC instead of latest midrange SoC on such phones. You get a significantly better GPU, ISP & NPU.

i do not think japanese would have interest in such lower spec phone model.

64GB ram of storage, that is too little for use in 2020. and a phone could be bought for use for the next 24months or longer period, for the budget minded users.

screen for such a lowered spec model, doesnt need a 1440p screen.
