prophone, 12 Apr 2020LG G7 will get it in the next quarter and the big question ... moreG7's rival S9 got Android 10 in first quarter, and we are not sure about LG. Same thing happened with Android 9 update, we got Android 9 after 7 months of Korean update. What's wrong with LG, I know many brands release update in different phase. But 6-7 months later??? Very clear, they can release update but they hold it intentionally. Don't know for what stupid reasons ...

Hopefully they don't ruin it with a droplet-shaped notch, the worst way to implement a selfie cam...

Looks so beautiful and solid. I never had LG phone, but it's gonna replace my samsung IF it's notchless.

It's more beautiful than the former candidate, experia 1 II

What LG need is good software along with better support... Their harware is always top notch, but the software keeps letting it down

Mid range sound the price could be affordable and cheap.with this new design I think Lg will managed to return back? Let see

Vegetaholic, 13 Apr 2020Design is nothing if they will not put top of the line spec... moreMost probably Sony and LG wont get the same market share as before. this cheap Chinese brands are not well known in europe or america where LG or Sony can still make good business if they can provide good phones. people there prioritize build, software and look more than price (sure, exorbitant price is detrimental for sells) whereas customers in third world countries like India always look at bang for bucks. LG, Sony could use this for their business but unfortunately they couldn't. there is still chance for them, if they cant use the last bits, this chance would be gone forever within 2/3 years. Look at hTC, who used to rule the android world. they went down because they thought they were APPLE and their design language was enough to pull customers.

I have an LG V30+. Thought I love the hardware and the phone still runs well after a few years, it is still on Android 8. My wife's Samsung has been having all the updates with even better hardware. I recognize LG has been trying to innovate, but all the promises on timely updates have always fell short. Unfortunately I will not be LG again. Software is as important as hardware.

The back looks very much like Xperias, I like this design

Design is nothing if they will not put top of the line specs with LG status prices, meaning no more than 600 euros for top speccwd model, otherwise forget it. No one will care to buy it LG brand long ago are relegated to other categories it is not relevant anymore same as Sony, doing massive mistakes thinking their brand matters and keep putting those four digits prices on their flagships. Well, reality is no one cares about LG or Sony unless they can put affordable prices to level what Realme, Oppo or Xiamo or Vivo would charge. Simple, start to rebuild your brand from scratch, offer good, high spec models for cheap price, to attract people like Realme did and build market share, and when latter think about power of your brand, cause LG and Sony are NOTHING in mobile real and their still acting that their brand matters and putting those exorbitant prices on their devices, no wonder both brands are dying.
