It's a LOT easier for Asian people to type using the 0-9 buttons because of the way their language is made.
For everyone else it's a pain in the az, but for them it's the best. I'm from Europe and even I know this. It's just common knowledge.
Also, flip phones will always be successful because they're different than the same-old dull bar looking phone.

Why don't they make something like the Unihertz Atom, that was such a niche little device and also got some really positive feedback, by Youtubers and consumers. It was 160$ for early adopters and about 200$ regular BUT it was a full fledged rugged Android phone, sized like a feature phone, and had a ton of features, even a fingerprint scanner. Totally crazy. I'd buy it if there's something like that in the market again

It is actually not as stupid as some may think. With NBN and mobile plan cost dropping along with telemarketers people are shifting away from home phones in Australia so the senior market for basic easy to use feature phones is starting to grow. Currently the market is full of specialist brands or obscure brands with no support
