It's gone to this? My LG G5 came with 2 years rather than 3 months, and I had not seen it advertised anywhere (even though it was 8 times more).

Pretty much all Android and Chrome users pay Google for their use of Google's services, with the hard currency not being cash but one's data, acquired through Google's nefarious data-siphoning techniques.

One should be very wary of using Google's cloud storage offering, and it's beggars belief Google can actually charge for use of its One Cloud storage, when one is bombarded by unrelenting ads on a relatively small smartphone display (as compared to a desktop).

Lol ugly phone of the year from front and back.

Oh, really?! That changes everything :) :) :). Sorry OnePlus but this announcement sound like a shot in the sky. I'd rather prefer $200 price rebate than that.

LOL. I wouldn't care if it was 1 year of free storage. OnePlus slowly losing its marbles.

And after those three months.... What? Pay a monthly fee or lose the service? Another thing to try to fool people and bite the bait. As if it's not enough to pay their overprices... No to all them. Or you improve them to be as good as the competition or drop a lot their prices. The vanilla 8 is almost a scam and the 8 Pro no near to its direct competitors in features and cameras. The only high on them are the new prices. Never Settle!!!

No thanks. My information in my phone and my big media data in my big memory card. I don't need to waste my data plans with stupid clouds that after three months you have to pay a monthly fee or even lose your rights above the content you upload to the free clouds including the one from Google...

My private data in my hands physically. We already have enough with their spyware SoC and online Cloud and services.

Add expandable memory for storage big media content to your overpriced flagships. Put better cameras to compite with other phones at the same price range. A good periscope one too. And why not, 2 USB-C ports or add the jack. Then i could consider them like i do with competitors that have all those features at the same prices and also run smooth like every phone with those SoC beast today and fast internal memories.
