Of Course android will reach that benchmark they should of ages ago, all together they sell many different handset from many different suppliers were as apple brings one phone out every year and still has majority of the percentage. Apple rules end of story and android is lucky they only bring out one handset every year

soon WP will overtake android just like wp overtaked iphone in china...
Android is cheap but not good for a long run......android games n only some apps are good .....dont know what people will do with 1million usseless apps .....like call recorder( the recorder doesnt record any thing ), solar charger (it will discharge ur battery n claiming it to charge ur battery ) ...android sukss

"recent trends to continue at least until the end of the year"... of course, by then iPhone5 will launch and the trend may change. Hey, it's pure logic, there aren't any more super phone to launch from now till year end.

AnonD-55045, 18 May 2012Android is the OS for the masses and they're quite comforta... moreWhilst I find the term "intellectual resources" perhaps a tad harsh, I do agree that Android is customisable for those who really need to go that far.
For the rest, it is probably as good as any OS, and personally I would recommend iPhone for those who absolutely just need a phone that works right out of the box. It's really all about choice.

Android is the OS for the masses and they're quite comfortable with it. So am I, and I like to be into that mass too. The magic about Android is that you can differentiate yourself from the rest via customization, if you have the intelectual resources to do so, or the backup of a large community like XDA.

This is great news. I will be happy for Apple and Android to continue to dominate. I just wish Nokia's Symbian to die a quick and painful death!
