My Note 9 display is ruined by the April upgrade. Worked fine for 10 minutes and now I have to use max brightness to see anything. Screen still has a yellowish, green layer that blurs everything.
This is clearly a result of inadequate testing a s forums are now lighting up with similar screen issues. My phone is only 14 months old and I am a very low demand user.
Disgusted with Samsungs lack of attention on upgrade. Will look for another brand as this is almost unusable and I'm concerned screen will denegrate further

If Samsung rolls out OneUI 2.1 for Note 9 it will really change my view on the Note series as a whole. The lack of major updates, supposedly intended to nudge people into purchasing new device, actually makes me want to stay off future Samsung Notes for lack of trust in Samsung's commitment to their devices.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2020Bring back Notification Led and everything is forgiven.I had the same problem on my Note 9. I ended up doing a factory reset and the notification light works again for me. I am NOT recommending it though because you lose all your data and apps and have to download all again unless you back your phone up.

What's so hard with just going with plain Google Android like the pixel phones?! It's already 2020 and we don't need to be forced to use Samsung Pay, Samsung internet app lol. If it's good like Google's software I'm sure lots and lots of folks will use it.

In fact, I am sure Galaxy A80 and A90 will also get one UI 2.1 along with the S9/note 9. They already ported some one ui 2.1 features into the 2.0 update for A80.

I'm pretty sure it can easily handle all OneUI 2.1 features. Like someone already said, all phones that are running 2.0 can also run 2.1. It's only a matter of Samsung allocating resources to do it.

Probably the Exynos 9810 version (which is sold in most markets), can't support the new camera features, whereas the SD845 version can (the SD845 is superior to E9810 in mostly everything).

It's a minor update only. They can bring it to all the phones that are running oneUI 2.0 . If not then the software engineers at samsung would be considered as dumb

What you did there is basically explaining the business model of Android smartphones in a nutshell.
