Ariur, 18 Apr 2020You are desperately grasping at straws here. The page does... moreSnapdragon 765G CAN support up to 144Hz. This phone's very existence proves it. Redmi K30 also proves it. Try checking the specs of flagship SoCs in Qualcomm's website and only the Snapdragon 865 lists OFFICIAL support for 144 Hz yet the first high refresh rate phone, Razer Phone running QHD @ 120 Hz uses S835. The S765G's GPU is as good as the S835's so expect it to still be buttery smooth for non-demanding tasks.

Dennis.K, 18 Apr 2020What, with a gfx tool,? Not even S8 runs that natuallyThe game just isn't that heavy and chipsets are more powerful then people think I guess.

          The page doesn't say that it can't run 720p @ 300hz.
          The page doesn't say it can't record videos 8k @ 60 FPS.
The page doesn't say it can't teleport objects and make you a dinner.
The page doesn't say a lot of other things.
Does it mean it can do all of the above and everything else it doesn't say it can't?
Snapdragon 765G supports maximum screen refresh rate of 60hz, clearly stated by manufacturer, period.

only Snapdragon 800 series can handle more than 60hz properly
if don't believe me go on YouTube and see poco x2 (730g and 765 don't have any major difference)
it has serious stutter with 120hz

Who cares about games. 90% of my time when I looking my phone, I'm scrolling something. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reading books etc. Probably most of you do that to. So 144hz is a big deal. It will make your life and your eyes happy.

I usually buy my phone online, I got my OnePlus 6t and my previous Nokia 6 and Acer E700 Trio from Amazon, TBH, as long as the version I buy have the 4G bands of my carrier (France biggest one "Orange"), I don't care buying non European/global versions.
