I just need a decent communicator to text, quickly view emails and just talk.
I also have to carry for work an iPad Mini 5, a rugged Samsung Galaxy Active Tab 2 which I can respond to emails, view docs or Excel and view media when I need to.
I don't seek a large screen Phablet even though I have big hands, I want a wee decent communicator.
But for those that don't have to lug tablets around, Yes a megasize Phablet is cool. but so is this iPhone SE which I'll consider only after being carpet bombed by reviews.

you are watching too much youtube reviewers, get back to reality and look at the real world usage of a phone, if we are talking about the future, fold is not really the way to go, i would rather see a hologram phone on the wrist or the arm

With around 400 - 500 dollars you can get a mid range android phone and waste a lot of time daily by constantly killing off background apps and activity in order to gain a little performance to make a call or you can get an iPhone SE with a chip faster than $1000 plus Android phones and enjoy doing something more useful and productive. For those who have decided to give their mid range android phone the paper weight status and go ahead with the SE I fully recommend downloading for free all the excellent apps offered by Apple like Pages for documents, Number for spreadsheets, Keynote for presentations and iMovie and Clips for movies. There’s nothing like those apps on android.

Security updates are overrated. Most of these ppl can be hacked using a simple phising link.
Functionality depends on which Android skin? Still miles better functionality than any version of iOS.
Enjoy midget screen where you get frustrated even during normal texting and throw the phone away after a few months for a nice big screen Droid.
