From an iphone 8 user’s point of view, plz compare its advantages in terms of battery life, picture taking both front and rear cams etc. As there would be no point wasting money if it didn’t offer some must have pluses. To me, it should have packed a larger screen within this body by going bezel less and under screen touch sensors. By doing so they would have added about comfortable 5” view screen along with small size as iphone 8. Better picture and video gallery management and third party downloads akin to android may have it a further killer appeal.?

Its a fantastic opportunity to own an iPhone. without the huge price tag like other models. I am an ex iPhone owner and admire Apple. Bad idea of missing out the night mode. but I suppose if they have off. why would you buy an iPhone XR or 11, when this is just as good.

But on the flip slide you can get a Pixel 3A same price better camera. so one of those decisions. what you want a phone for. Well done Apple this will sell amazing.

SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 24 Apr 2020As I said earlier, most Android phones don't come with too ... moreWhat do you mean Android "doesn't come with much" software bugs? Bugs are bugs.

Even IF Android is bug-free, somebody is eventually gonna find a way to hack into older android software. And they have the incentive to because android doesn't have long software update span.

On the other hand, there aren't much third hand buyers out there, right? A family is at most gonna hold onto a phone for 5 years, then switch. A 5-year phone isn't very appealing to second-hand buyers, hence not much point for hacking.

Hgt, 24 Apr 2020And old Android phones have old operating systems with secu... moreAre you talking about security flaws as in security update? The whole latest software thing is nothing but marketing gimmick that Apple S-h-e-e-p-s fall for.
In reality, after 5 years of updates, there phones are rendered less secure and less feature rich compared to Android and they also suffer battery and cpu degradation thru software updates which is pretty much non-existent on Android.

JDK, 24 Apr 2020Yo, I wasn't talking about features. I was talking about so... moreAs I said earlier, most Android phones don't come with too many bugs except for the low end Chinese companies which most ppl never heard of.
And yeah on Apple you'll get guaranteed software updates, sure you mean updates which cripple and slow down the battery and cpu which Apple admitted to in order to force users to upgrade. On Android, our phones are not running handicapped like iOS even after years.

I was talking about software updates, and the advantages of them. If one software update has a bug in it, but your android phone is at the end of a 2 year- 1 year lifespan, good luck updating. Same with iPhone, but it guarantees software updates for much longer, so that is less of a thing to worry about.

Th... moreI thought I addressed this, apologies if not clear; the successor to the 9 could be called the iPhone SE 2(02x), on the assumption that the 2020 main iPhone will be reverting to a similar boxy-ier design language.

Alternatively they could just call a successor iPhone 10, (never X in writing) since they're so keen on reusing names anyway!

It's perfect for people who need a simple phone without much hassle and a small screen, good camera. And is simple that Android simply doesn't have a good alternative to it considering Pixel 4(overpriced too) isn't available in India and they aren't giving any clue about Pixel 4A

Iphone 6 has 65% screen to body ratio . Its by no mean a small phone . If other phone manufacturer made iphone se 2020 it will be as small as iphone 5 and retain the 4.7 inch screen .

Don't need to read articles on Internet. Know a lot of iPhone users who are constantly upset with the handicapped nature of the ecosystem.

Anyways here's another recent article confirming the point I made a few posts back about iOS fixing bugs for first part of the year. Such a secure ecosystem.

I bet that you have read a lot of articles of both android and IOS bugs. The thing is, iPhones have a vastly greater software lifespan, so you can actually update them to fix these small bugs. And you can stay on the same version if the next one has bugs. You can do that with android, but with much less flexibility.

Most iOS users are so technically challenged, they can be hacked using a simple phising link.
Best example is The iCloud scandal exposing naked pics of celebrities, which was not coz of some high level hacker.
The users had weak passwords, half of them had no clue, they had ticked the option during setup so that all their pictures automatically got uploaded to the cloud.
