          Honor 30 Series has forced the hands of other phone-makers including Xiaomi. Nothing excites Xiaomi designers more than a good showing of a new Honor phone series. Expect more phones with a periscope optical zoom coming.

          In a way, Honor 30 Series has played a role in shaping the smartphone tech trends of 2020.

            I am waiting for good news from Xiaomi regarding Mi 10 Youth edition. I hope it might be strong build quality like aluminum frame and full glass with gorilla glass v5 at least. There's no question about camera, processor and other specifications. I am ready to get this one for my next phone.

              when they say 50× zoom its mean
              5× optical zoom
              10× hybrid zoom

              The 5x zoom is obviously really good and crystal clear. The 10x hybrid zoom is still quite good and, while the 20x starts to show some of the digital zoom effect. The 50x blur is too much, but acceptable.


              when they said 100× zoom
              means 10× optical zoom

              all depends to the type of camera sensor & quality of them & of course the software they used

                Stupid 5G again to bump up the price by 100 or 200 think I'll pass I'll these 5G nonsense.

                  Using anything higher than 10x digital Zoom will always make the image look like crap! (it doesn't matter if they call it AI Zoom, super res Zoom etc).

                  Digital Zoom always come with a significant loss of details. (some are little bit better than the other thought).

                  Don't buy their marketing bullshit or you gonna end up being very disappointed.

                    Mi 10 Youth has the creepy 50x zoom.... is this a hidden statement about the current generation of youth? "P

But until now you can find 1-3 devices in the market with a real 3x or 5x optical zoom. All the other just have hybrid zoom, which means the camera outputs a really detailed 64MP or 108MP photo and the camera software then crops it down to a 12MP or a 16MP photo, creating the illusion of a 30x zoomed image!

                          Another voice for smaller phones. Maximum as Mi 9 SE or competitors like Samsung S10e.

                              I hope to be smaller device 6 inch display.There are enough big devices already but nothing in the compact side.
