By the time at&t release these downgraded phones...Samsung would release their next version. Another thing with these altered US phones is that you wouldn't get enough accessories unlike iphone. Who would make accessories which is made for just 1 country and too for 1 carrier. US Carriers s#&ks...!

If T-Mobile wanted to gain massive new customer, they need to had the first quad core phone in the U.S. carrier, they easily could do it, with their 4g since is not LTE.

I can't understand who's decision it is to change the US versions of samsung phones like the Note to have capacitive touch buttons for the home, back and menu buttons. Fine, we must substitute hardware for LTE capabilities, but wouldn't a better chipset allow for greater throughput in regards to data? That's the purpose, this is what I'm scratching my head at. And of course, AT&T and T-Mobile must have respective versions to limit their radio bands. In this day in age, for all US consumers, stop using contract based companies who try to control not only your service but your device, purchase a sim card with a contract free company like H20, SimpleMobile or Red Pocket and buy an unlocked phone. A premium plan on one of the contract free companies will be even better than what AT&T or whoever else has to offer and the money saved will even out the cost for the phone. This is what we need to do these days, thank God my contract is up in a few weeks.

No quad-core for US T-Mobile? Might as well keep the phone to themselves. I got plenty of dual-core phones at home, if not on sale online and at retail store.

I'd love to see the SGS3 with 2 gigs of RAM on board. Nevertheless, those Kraits would need to be benchmarked against the Exynos 4412, to see how them do with bloatware by AT&T and T-mo'. Not even mention it needs to have an unlocked bootloader, so it doesn't limit users like AT&T's HOX :'(

i have S2 from ATT Skyrocket with Snapdragon processor, so as i understand the new S3 will have a little better processor mostly gpu, and that's all, oh year and a little bigger screen.
and because of that i have to buy new S3?
NO WAY
i better to sell my Skyrocket in pristine condition add a couple hundreds and buy NEW NOTE.
a little disappointing with ATT decision since was expecting quad core.

The only reason I liked S III was because of the processor and the phone design. But if those are changed then No thanks. I can wait for another good model which comes with the Exynos 4 Quad or better.
Disappointed with this. They should release a 3G model as well :-(
