        Security patches for only 3 years? How does that translate to them wanting to keep the phone around for longer than other "regular" phones!

            What a shame...
            It took Samsung until like the S7 active before they finally added protection to the screen. And it was only one extra layer of polycarbonate. Still leaving it easy to break in what's claimed to be such a rubbed device.
            Where as you have devices like the Motorola turbo 2 that had 5 layers and survived a 900 foot drop.
