Huawei has an incompetent marketing team. That's all. It doesn't change the fact that their phones excel at photography.
BTW, newsflash: Advertisements are mostly inaccurate anyway. Any smart person never believes advertisements. Huawei's fault here is that they get caught doing it, when others manage to get away with it.

Who cares? I was never interested in whoawho garbage and I never will be.
This is just another second hand spying replica brand that lies about it's specifications from day one.
Remember a few years ago when they were saying that their phones have the latest type of internal memory, when in reality they were using ancient technology?
And this is not the first time when they get caught lying about the camera quality, using DSLR photos.
Add no YouTube, No PlayStore, no Root possibilities!
This brand is GARBAGE! Next!

There's no conspiracy here. Huawei is just pushing sh!te like they have been for the past 5 years or so. Just like the ccp s members themselves.

It is not a contest run by some other Company but Huawei itself. It is not a big work to verifiy Pictures which they think worth a look. I mean what's the Point of contest if they are not verifying it??
So if no one finds it out about it, they still use this Picture to fool People like you and get away with it. If someone finds it out, blame it on user. Makes complete sense.
Remeber this is not the first time this Company did something like this. Apple/Sony never has these Kind of allegations, why??? Even sasmung has a case where they tried to fool People with A80 I guess. I still doubt that user is actually part of these companies to intentionally fool People. I won't be surprised.
It is matter of honesty and genuiness. No wonder People trust more Brands like Apple and Sony than These chinese and hype oriented Samsung.

Everyone knows that this kind of contest where you can only take a picture from a specific device is prone to cheating, so it is up to the company that run the contest to verify that it is actually taken from its devices, especially when they want to use the said photos for their promo material. I know that it is hard to verify lots of pictures, but they just need to verify those that they deemed the winner for that contest and for photos that they want to use for their promo material. A lot of mistakes similar to this happens usually because they outsourced the promo material to a 3rd party but in this case there is really no excuse since the promo material comes from their own contest which they are in charge to verify the photos. What happening here is likely they don't care. They see something good and immediately use it. Blaming it to user submitted content is them basically admitting that they are not competent enough to pull such a contest. It is like they do the contest on purpose to get free high quality great photos and doesn't have to care about the copyright issue. If some pictures turns out to be not from Huawei's devices, they can always blame the people who submitted it.
