If facebook moves to get a majority of Jio , then it will be the end for privacy and security of jio users and many will move to another provider , which in this case is Airtel and Voda-Idea. Jio is lot better than those as of now, but might not be the same in future.

Tomorrow he'll be denied life insurance in a critical situation for his family and there is nothing he can do about it since he is sharing all his data to Facebook, Google, etc. in which AI will be making these calculations, not humans.

If you don't value your privacy, your data, your rights to consent then that's your problem. Keep living that blissful life m8.

But since you don't know what the consequences of having Big Tech / Data snooping on your personal life means...let's say you googled the words "painful piles how to cure" or something in that vein. Would you feel happy with Google, Facebook, Reliance / Jio, Amazon and literally hundreds of 3rd party affiliates knowing that your gluteus maximus is feeling a majoris hurtus? Too bad, they already know now and the next few sites you visit got all shapes and sizes of hemorrhoids cream splashed across the screen vying for your attention.
So you have nothing to hide, good for you. Are you fine with broadcasting personal facts, like medical issues used in the example, to the entire world since you're so open with your personal details? How about your parent's pesonal data? Your children's? Maybe you want to shout from the rooftops the brand of underwear you purchase?

And if you think Facebook tracks only it's registered users, then go google the words "facebook shadow profiles" and educate yourself. The Majority of popular websites use facebook trackers, Facebook might know everything from your contact info to internet usage even if you NEVER even visited facebook.com, leave alone creating an account there.
Reliance / Jio deploys deep packet sniffing, DNS strong arming, arbitrary URL redirection and all that over a fully locked router-modem which you can't even log into locally, other than via yet another data mining phone app in a manner barely different to a read-only mode.

But you're happy with all that. It must be nice to live with such simple thoughts.

Every f day with 1 million euros. We need them at this time of crises, and useless businesses like facebook or google, well, can give a burst.

I'm laughing reading at your comment. My god, how can you even co-relate my statement with such things.

You should stop using free products, if you don't want to share any data. The terms and conditions you agree wilfully states the conditions you're bounded in.

OwnFix3, 22 Apr 2020You hide only when you do something wrong. So you can go nude on the road? Since you haven't done anything wrong then why and what are you hiding, just post a nude picture of yourself and your family since I don't think they have done something wrong.

Just imagine your Dad ask you to give your phone to him, since he wanted you to check Right? Will you do the same if some stranger ask you the same question, since there's nothing wrong in seeing someone's phone.

Or ask you to show the brand, make model of your innerwear of course you will show no doubt, but can you permit the same to a stranger for your daughter or wife?

They are taking your "valuable" data for their profits.
                        1. If they say that we are taking your "these" data without your permission and knowledge for targeted ads so that we can extract money as much as possible from your pocket. Will you agree? At least I won't, no matter if its free service.

                        2. But if they say that we collect anonymous data only with your permission for enhancing our service (which they actually mention). Will you agree? Everyone will even I.

But the problem is they do the first thing and mention it as second.

That's invasion of privacy just viewed at a different angle (something personal accessible to others without your permission).

If you are happy with the above then yes you are right, and we are wrong.

People aren't mad about it because they've got something to hide, it's because Facebook and companies like it are making billions on information they don't need access too, and will do absolutely anything they can to obtain it. You wouldn't want someone snooping around your house, would you? Doesn't mean you have anything to hide, it's just a massive invasion of privacy.
