If they had redesigned it. Apple's home button on this phone is killing this phone. A great attempt to steal money. No spending on design, utilising almost every components from iphone 8,
16:9 1080p 5" OLED display, reduced bezels, 3.5mm jack, 2500-3000mah battery. Now it is on Android phone makers to come up with something similar . I'm sure they will it better.

an2, 26 Apr 2020Have you considered that people want a small phone, has a p... moreYes I have and if you have read my whole post you would have seen that.
I have never been fanboy of any manufacturer or os, owned devices before phones were "smart" then from symbian era, to android, windows and ios and this phone no matter brand is just simply and plain bad buy except for reasons I already wrote in my original post.
As I have said, benchmarks are just numbers and hats off to it in that aspect, but in everyday use, you will not see any difference in using device, except in some niche things like exporting 4k video ect.
And for you to say that S10e with snapdragon 855 is not powerful device is beyond ridiculous. That phone is compact and simply better in every aspect than SE (oled, bezzels, modern screen ratio, ultra wide camera, battery, storage and so on).
There is nothing wrong with you preferring Apple, and spending money on things that make you happy, but to say this is better device because of benchmark numbers is simply wrong. With SE you are buying old car with new engine and nothing else. Simple as that.

Phones fan, 27 Apr 2020I don't think buying a small screened phone for your parent... moreMy parents both think that Android phones are getting too big (and I agree wholeheartedly). It is themselves who said they would rather jump ship to iOS than buying big phones. They don't go out much, and when they do, they'd just take a walk in the park or dine out. Sometimes they don't even have a bag when they go shopping. They just leave everything in the car and just bring a contactless debit card with them. And the biggest thing they have is their phones, which won't fit in their pockets!
My parents don't do much on their phones anyway except messaging or FB. If they want to binge-watch YT/Netflix they can do that on the TV or PC.

Seriously though, if a person doesn't like iOS, at least they can try to cope with it, but there's nothing they can do to make their phone smaller. And Google should be very worried about the direction Android is going towards - copying every stupid trend Apple started but failing to even copy what Apple does best (chipset, power management, software support, customer service, offering of small flagships etc).

an2, 26 Apr 2020Don't even like iOS but I'm buying this for my parents. A s... moreI don't think buying a small screened phone for your parents is a smart move, you only make their eyes suffer, fast processor has no benefit in this situation.

I always buy phones with large screens for my parents, and using a large text size, so they don't need to put their glasses on.

In general for people above 40 ,it is better to avoid phones with screens smaller than 6" size.

Hmm...An Apple poll on this site? I wonder how this will go.

The funniest part is that whoever has to write the results article next week will have to act like they didn’t know what the opinions were going to be.

I was absolutely waiting for this phone to come out. I already have the old iPhone SE and it suits my needs perfectly. The only problem is I am out of memory almost on my wife’s phone is an iPhone 6 and it’s too slow to even use anymore. So this phone is absolutely perfect. I want my home button. I don’t need a giant screen. And I want the fastest processor so it’s not obsolete anytime soon. Who needs to spend $1000 US plus on the phone when you could have one for $350 that does the job just fine. Wife’s is arriving tomorrow and I’ll get mine down the road.

Sadly not everyone is able separate the wheat from the chaff.

                            Good on you mate.

yokokun, 26 Apr 2020I feel like I am a stupid person if I buy this iphone. I pr... moreHey yokokun, don't feel stupid, please because you are not stupid. Here are your options.

As you're considering buying the iPhone SE (2020) or the iPhone 11 Pro, should you go ahead, I guarantee you shall become part of herd, eventually morphing into an i$heep.

                              You're also considering buying the Realme X2 Pro. Should you go ahead, not before long you'll become a F a n d r o i d.

One way or another, you'll be consumed by the allegiance associated with the phone's OS. A temptation that many have succumbed, resulting in warped and misguided ideologies.

I hope you don't fall prey to the ecosystem allegiances that most have. I therefore strongly suggest you choose a phone based upon your needs, your requirements, and affordability of the device.

Don't be swayed into purchasing decisions based upon peer pressure, manufacturer's marketing (often misleading), or opinions of others who have not supported their commentary with proof.

I urge you to assess the weight and size of the phone as the most critical aspects, should this be your first smartphone purchase.

Technical features will then come into play into deciding a certain group of phones.

Ask yourselves what features you really need - 3.5mm audio jack, micro SD card slot, waterproofing, 5G, large battery capacity, fast processor (SoC), fast RAM (LPDDR), fast internal bus (UFS), fast USB. Then there's the camera to consider, and the aesthetics of the phone, e.g., does a notch bother you ?

Having asked yourself of these questions, it should allow you to make a more informed judgement about the phone that's best for you.

                              Use GSMarena's

                                Not worth the money,
Battery is to small single camera is too cheap in present day and era and the super slow charging is just no.
And as long as Phone workability is restricted to Itunes and that laughable IOS is far worse than android i am definitely not interested.
New phone in old body but score results proving its much worse.
                                Sorry apple.

I had zero updates in my phones. Literally zero and i never had a single problem to run applications or install whatever i wanted in the phones i have purchased and i usually only change of phone every 5 years. So for me the Apple support means nothing, nothing valuable. I'll buy the best hardware i can with the money i can spend. And until now, Apple never offered the best hardware for the money. In fact, they were a lot behind competitors until recently and even today can't much them.

So for me, the phone that give me more hardware features (stereo speakers, jack, expadable memory, the biggest installed memory, etc) with also the best cameras and a decent SoC from mid-range and above for the money i can spend. That is the winner and always was for me. I'm not tied to a brand. I only search for the overall best rounded phone i can purchase and always worked for me with zero problems.

The first thing i do when i watch a commercial coming is make them take distance from me ASAP because they are always going to do the same, try to sell their shit, use absurd excuses, predicate their bible, etc. Always the same history. And as you can watch here, we have the same problem...

In India its $558 which translates to INR 42000, and at that price there are so many options available better then iPhone SE. If it would have been priced at around 30k to 32k surely it would have demolished other manufacturers.

And even the top Qualcomm chip can't compare to Apple's offering, let alone a mid-range one.
Oh and also...my parents' 6S is still receiving updates. That phone is 4+ years old.
