The equation is simple, GCC ( Gulf countries ) are rich oil, which is why nowadays I see the devices are released earlier here, it's a big market, from 5 year old to 65 year old owns 2 smart devices, so why not release here first

It's available in Pakistan too but for a much higher price tag:79999 PKR($865): http://homeshopping.pk/products/Samsung-Galaxy-S-III-3-White-in-Pakistan-.html and while on the other side HTC One X is available for 51500 PKR($564): http://homeshopping.pk/products/HTC-One-X-in-Pakistan-.html I wont pay $300 for Galaxy S3 to be very frank when both the phones are almost equal in every department especially for the One X which has a much better build quality is available for $300 less!!!!

who needs some 3,5G network like LTE?? I think 3G with max 21mbps is more than enough for mobile devices! LTE support is just a marketing thing...
Rather have a real 3G phone with quad proc than some alternative with LTE support...

yes it's true, GS3 is available today in Dubai store (carrefour, Souq.com and others) with price varying from 680 to 700$, specs are white, 16 GB but without NFC
