i agree it is a decent effort, only i detest the curved and edged screens, so no matter how good the rest is i cannot bring myself to buy, even at a proper price, one due to the screens drawbacks, also i must admit i would have prefered a single 48/64mp wide only sony sensor.

bob, 27 Apr 2020i looked into this phone, £650!!, no thanks, it also ... moreYea...it even has 3,200 mAH battery and SnapDragon 835...so much good hardware on this but should have been, AT MAX, $400 (understandably, the processor is still better than any MediaTek processor; even the P90).
Looked nice. While that processor was SUPER efficient back in the day, I would've preferred a 4,000 mAH battery and 2D display. At least it has stereo speakers, headphone jack, expanded memory, and ACTUAL global bands unlike the 'global-ness' of Honor, Realme, Redmi, and Meizu...

bob, 27 Apr 2020i looked into this phone, £650!!, no thanks, it also ... moreTo be fair, that's a cheap price coming from a small team making almost no profit.
And in this age of overpriced OnePlus 8 and Samsung S20 Ultra... it looks like a steal.
I loathe curved screens, yet, their placement makes the most sense on a sliding device.
I would've preferred they used a 2D screen instead of a 2.5D, and a non-sealed battery, but these are minor things when considering there is no alternative to this device.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2020Try F(x)tec Pro1, it's already available with worldwide shipping.i looked into this phone, £650!!, no thanks, it also has a crummy curved screen and is 'edged', so another no waaay no thanks. A good attempt, just not good enough, even though it has a 3.5mm jack.

many many many thanks for the article
back then ... the boomboxes were user removable batteries, people easily shop for the batteries even at the newsstand at almost every corner. although the waste were the governments issues, the market satisfied because equipments seldom broke and only nees to change batteries and happily hassle with cable
today ... 2 years phones are considered old although still useful, listening music is limited to batteries in the headset, and must go to the service center to change phone battery
people will not mind for user removable 10,000 mah batt that makes 7.5 inch heavy brick thick phones run for 3 x 24 hours without charging, although it feels like rich people to have a phone slimmer and smaller than credit card and run for 6 hours with everything else wireless

yeah...wow thanks for writing this article. I thought I was the only one who followed all these joins and break up of markets and companies over the years. I remember back in the 80s watching tv commercials for the new company formed by Vector and Horizon (Verizon). Catchy little commercials btw. That was the first time ever I remember seeing the name Verizon. Man they have come a long way...

Had the milestone and loved it!! was my second Android phone after a short relationship with the LG GW620. I originally bought it as a gift for my girlfriend but we broke up before her birthday and i got the best gift i could have 😁
I used to flash custom roms on the LG and Milestone I guess it made feel smart 😀 but after wrecking havoc on both phones, I learned to stick with the OEM's rom on my next phone(a Sony Xperia U) for some reason I'm glad I sticked with Android since the beginning (I think I got my first smartphone in 2010) never blackberry and never iPhone, bought a Windows phone once in 2014 and sold it for half the price after one week as i couldn't stand it 😀
