Waste, 24 Apr 2020What are they thinking? Note 7, Note 8/8T/Pro are still on ... moreAnd you said they keeping releasing phones every 3 months. They do that because they need to do that. Their profit margins are so low that Apple wouldn't even sell a back cover in that kind of profit margin. Xiaomi has to keep releasing new phones to they can have more sales and new designs can get released and so they can have more userbase. They always use the tested and well-known design (of Tier 1 brands) on their phone. If they make the phone from scratch it would cost them money in research and then the cost of the phone will increase which nobody wants. You can call them a copy cat if you want but It doesn't matter cause their phones cost pretty less with pretty good specs. Also, Xiaomi has 2 lineups, for cheap phones they have Redmi, and for expensive phones they have Mi.

Waste, 24 Apr 2020What are they thinking? Note 7, Note 8/8T/Pro are still on ... moreHas apple ever released a device under 200$?
Why are you comparing the cheap midrange device to a flagship device brand, what's the point?
In terms of update, Xiaomi's track record is pretty good, MIUI updates are all you need for new features. The Android version doesn't matter that much on Xiaomi phones. Also, you can install a custom ROM on any Xioami device which has SDM chipset so the whole new world is at your feet. Xiaomi phones get the best support from the custom ROM community.

Anders, 24 Apr 2020Europe is going to get the Redmi 10X with it's mediatek SOC... moreNote 9 pro/ note 9s have the sd 720g. The regualr note 9 will have g85 worldwide

Europe is going to get the Redmi 10X with it's mediatek SOC pretending to be the Note 9 while everywhere else gets the version with the Snapdragon 720G

Does Xiaomi really not want to succeed in Europe?

Out of all the smartphone manufactures, it's Xiaomi that wins supreme with the most ridiculous device's/UI naming shennigans in the industry.

But, Google's Android OS is still on 10.

                    WTF!

What are they thinking? Note 7, Note 8/8T/Pro are still on Android 9! This is exactly why Apple is so popular. They don't release a phone every three months and update their phones on time, for five years. Xiaomi is spoiling the Android experience so badly.
