So Nokia killed everything, failed at everything.

Thanks Elop. You also trashed the life of hundred of Nokia employes. Good job.

I wonder how you can live with yourself.

If this is true, then the Nokia n9 and Nokia 808 Pureview shall be the last phones I purchase. From there, I'm going to move to Android. I can't work with Windows Phone. In terms of functionality it is far too limited compared to Android and Symbian. And it doesn't make sense to wait for Windows Phone to get features that have been there for years.

          That's it, farewell Symbian/Nokia Belle...

My next phone will either be a Windows 8 phone, a flagship android phone or an iPhone (if the rumors about a 4" screen is true, that is)

I think Elop is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He don't know the past and the future of Nokia.

Rumours apart,i can't quite swallow what's happening in the os world.Earlier we had only one major smartphone os-symbian.Somewhere some people(very few) brew-ed.And windows were opened too.the brew got poured into very few cups.and windows couldn't let in much fresh air.thus symbian ruled on.Then God dropped two fruits. One berry and and one apple. Now,monopoly was seriously challenged.netizens saw that symbian had a weak browser, not so strong mailing guts etc etc.symbian didn't care.symbian failed to notice that the phone was becoming more a net based device.and then the doodle doo entered the scene.they who served smart data, started serving smartphone os.And all thought they should just throw away the phones with other os-s.pity is even the makers of the other os-s lost hope.symbian is almost dead and long live the symbian.but exactly how buggy and weak is the symbian os?and how smart are the doodle doo ones?an os that still fails to give more than a day's standby time,a doodle where your private data is always under threat,an os that still didn't learn how to exit from an app and always needs a taskkiller,an os where you need to pull down something and then tap just to see a message has arrived.even after the 9th version,it is still groping to learn what symbian did long ago.just recall how many versions it took to learn making folders.and so on.my point is where are we heading?symbian will be sacrificed.okay.but in favour of what?some windows that can't even connect to pc without zune?what did symbian do that you have to kill it.after the feature pack 1 update, show me where does symbian or belle fail

zymesh, 24 May 2012you can bypass the 2MB limit by not agreeing on the Terms o... moreLol, so this is one fault with the OS/Nokai software then. I could go on and on with examples like this for Nokia - so this to me makes the whole experience feel 'beta'. For example Nokia claims to have 'push' email but on my last Nokia (the N8), the emails would come through some days in true push style but 80% of the time they would have to be manually retrieved - this is also a very common issue experienced by many (do a quite search on the net for many pee'd off users), and i even email nokia care who were more than useless.

I feel it's good that they decided to drop symb as it had really been dead and outdated for sometime but wish nokia had chosen a better partner than MS...

Ok Samsung, this is your last chance to prove Nokia (especially buttELOP) did a biggest mistake by killing Meego (Tizen).

This is sad if true, I have been running Nokia E6 as a business tool since released and made the upgrade to Belle it is faultless and battery backup is fantastic and suits me.

I have been a long time user of Symbian OS some love some hate, I have always loved it and it has always done what has been asked of it.

For me this is a mistake by Nokia to cease Symbian and they could well regret this, as WP is not really setting the world alight at present.

I would imagine this will upset a lot of long time Nokia users one that could cause many of them to look at alternative brands.

                            Big mistake.

Remove Elop!!! Bring back Jorma. Elop is a killer for Nokia. He brought Macromedia down. Now, when he introduce WP7 (just because he was with MS), he's trying to kill Symbian. First Meego with the Nokia N9. Now, Symbian. He should be removed. He's a disgrace for Nokia!!! Jorma is a great legend. Because of Jorma, Nokia earns great credibility for the largest handset maker in the world.

                                  Remove Elop; Bring back Jorma

                                  SAVE NOKIA!!!!
