Even without COVID 19, this thing will not sell. The price is too much. Even If I can afford to buy one, I'd rather spend the money for something else. Very unwise to buy such expensive device. There is no big difference from other models to justify the price. Stop spoiling apple and samsung for setting the price tags.

Note7 owner, 28 Apr 2020No one is out and about and can't show off their new phones... mores10+ snapdragon may be this year's best buy, price/performance ratio.
i just wish mine wasn't exynos, was so slow to charge, and didn't have the dropping wifi problem.

Very good idea Samsung cut the components due to covid19 smart thing to do at this period of time, less shoppers this year but i'ts not wise! Should better cut price instead op components by next year it will become absolute.

No one is out and about and can't show off their new phones. Last year's s10 will do just fine.

Riiight, COVID. Certainly has NOTHING to do with the fact that they released uninspiring phones and priced them outside of their market's reach. I've been a Galaxy S series fan since the very first phone. The S10 was the first phone I didn't get, the S20 is the first one that made me genuinely disappointed with the series, even if it's partially Qualcomm's fault, partially Samsung's pricing, partially the lack of innovation.
I really hope Samsung gets back on track and that this was a one-off accident.

WTH!!! What is wrong with you people!!! Still blaming "Underwhelming Exynos" for Samsung undercutting buying components??.. The Heck !!! S20 Ultra might be facing serious problem but that is not the SOLE REASON!!! BESIDES S20 SERIES IS NOT ONLY THEIR SMARTPHONE PRODUCT!!!
Can't you even feel the PANDEMIC happening??
Lockdowns are already present to a lots of countries including my country... It means Buying a smartphone is not something we can do freely right now. Almost all stores or malls are closed. Only food and other essential things are being sold.

You need to read this I’m an Exynos fan myself, but TSMC fabrication far better than Samsung fabrication.

Exynos 990 just touches SD855+ levels of performance (Notebookcheck) but with worse thermal throttling and efficiency. This means that the A13 chip can't even be surpassed; let alone A12. Also Kirin 990.

I really wanted to upgrade to S20 Ultra this year, but the lame 4x optical, only 60 Hz at full res display, inferior charging speeds, inferior battery endurance, the overheating and inefficient-standby Exynos, and plethora of launch issues (i.e. broken auto-focus), just made it impossible for me. So yeah, blame the Covid.
