Huawei is comparable to Samsung and XIaomi, but really not a player in the first world without Google Service, plus it's overpriced.

Xiaomi did a great job with the cameras,Mi Note 10 was a good start and with Mi 10 Pro they've managed to reach the level of Huawei...in some aspects Mi 10 Pro is even better than P40 Pro.It might be the best phone camera of the year..cannot see what could possibly Samsung offer with Note 20 or Apple with iPhone 12 to outperform Mi 10 Pro,it will be beaten only by Huawei Mate 40 Pro this year,I reckon...

Moral of the review: Stuffing a high Megapixel camera doesn't guarantee the best image quality.
Not impressed with all my expectation.

P40 pro takes much better pictures in some dark scenes and has a better ultrawide camera, but it oversaturates the colors and oversharpens.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a more advanced sensor than Mi 10 pro, but image quality is inconsistent, sometimes very good, sometimes not.
I think Mi 10 Pro is the best camera phone currently, but Huawei could easily fix their issues and would then be way ahead of every other phone, except no one outside China will buy it due to no google services.

Look at the ribbons in the upper right corner - both on good light and low light, the Note 10 is far better than the 10 Pro.

Very good, but the camera set is basically the same as the Mi Note 10, which for the price is a killer deal compared to the flagships mentioned in the review.

Inferior display at $1000 dollars
No front-face camera image stabilization
No ultra camera night-mode

Good review.
The big point is, if camera is of main importance, the Mi Note 10 is the real steal of the year, and it's virtually identical to the Mi 10 Pro.
The only problem is Xiaomi's poor after-sale support and the lack of software updates.
