what?, 25 May 2012SIII has no mass storage? Lol read the specs of the phone b... moreRead the review first. :-P

"USB. For some reason Android 4 no longer features the USB Mass Storage mode and only has MTP and PTP modes left.

USB version 2.0, file transfer rate 25 Mb/s.

The phone cannot have a Bluetooth and a USB connection simultaneously. When the phone s connected to a PC via USB it prompts you to turn off BT disregarding whether the phone is synced with PC or there is an ongoing file transfer which is really a downer. The battery is charging when the phone is connected via USB.

The microUSB port supports the MHL standard which means that it can be connected to a TV’s HDMI-in. This solution is a lot more convenient than a separate miniHDMI slot on the phone.

The phone also supports EDGE class 12 in GSM networks."

if pureview is compatible with android ICS... Minimum hardware is 4GB RAM.... 3.1GHz processor quad core.... iNvidia GeForce 2GB graphic RAM.... To perform.....
Android platform is too cheap compare to symbian.... Symbian require vvery less ram to perform

Nokia was good manufacturer. But now its way behind in term of specs and technology. Some of you may think still can cope with it and not thinking about high specs, but market says different. Its not only about specs but also about brand. Their brand value is just getting worst in customer eyes now. People start to think nokia as a low end manufacturer, and its really bad for nokia image. Marketer shud know this. If they dont change it fast, soon will be doom

OK listen up blind (nokia/android/ios) fanboys. Symbian, or whatever Nokia decide to call it, isn't going anywhere for another 2 years. Whether Nokia actually release new handsets running the old platform is questionable to say the least, but as a research and development tool it's still alive and kicking.

The Pureview 808 is likely to be Nokia's last Symbian powered device, whether we like it or not. Sad as this may be, it's time to close the first chapter of this epic tale and begin writing the next. But do not despair young readers, because there are many, many more stories of intrigue to come.

[deleted post]I know!! Haha. What an embarrassment for Samsung. Apple uses Samsung's tech to make a massive profit that Samsung can only dream of. In the end the package matters more than the parts and Apple makes a better package than Samsung any day of the week.

These new and upcoming PureView phones would HAVE to have Windows Phone.

Nokia has cancelled all future Symbian updates (Carla and Donna).

I am developing aps for both android and Symbian and I can tell you that Symbian is much faster at doing tasks than android, native code vs interpreted java code. So, symbian is faster with less resources, this I call optimized OS. Altough Symbian has microkernel that helps the os while on low ram, while androi uses linux, monolitic kernel not microkernel. This means that the hole kernel is loaded into memory, that is why android requires huge RAM. I can say that Symbian Belle is even more easyer tu use than androi, more organized, android is a little messy, as many interfaces as android manufactures. Nokia was late im developing a nice ui but they did it with belle, only thing that symbian requires now to be the king again is higher resolution and that is possible too, with Qy, at least! BTW, I'm writting this from my Nokia C7 with Belle!
