Who doesn't see the ridiculousness of this? I mean, year after year they just keep making smartphones narrower in their portrait orientation, but now you're telling us "amaze at the technology that widens your portrait display...". Okay, WHAT?!
How about we dispense with the overpriced technology that proposes we accept a crease in the middle of our display, and just go back to 16:9 already.

Anonymous, 04 May 2020Even folded, it looks ridiculously huge, so what was the point? The point is that you can still use it as a phablet when you fold it unlike different foldable solutions from other companies.

Eye-candy innovations:
These kind of phones are not innovative. even the larger display with punch-hole & multiple cameras too. All these are just namesake tech innovation that will be eye-candy to people.
Whether the real life DSLR & SLR cams have multiples eyes are what. Build that kind of camera in smartphone like in Lumia 1020. Larger display with minimal bezel were you can have branding, mic, speaker & front camera as in S8/Nokia 9 PV or notch for camera alone that too can be avoided though.

We put our fragile glass phones in thick rubber and plastic cases and still end up with scratches and bruises. Wrapping your phone with a screen that can be damaged by your nails is by far the most asinine move thus far.
