Weekly poll: does the Mi Note 10 Lite have a place in Xiaomi's lineup?

03 May 2020
The price of the vanilla Mi Note 10 is currently dangerously close to the Lite and it gives you a higher res main camera and two telephoto cams.

The problem with the Mi Note 10 Lite is that Xiaomi ditched telephoto cameras in favour of depth sensor. I'm sorry, but telephoto is definitely way more useful than depth sensor. The 108MP camera sensor may sound like a joke, but stick to 27MP all the time and you should be alright.

There options are bad, you need to include the last year's Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, Mi9T
Which is still more valuable and powerful than these redesign with about same capability internals.

I think the redmi note 9 lineup is pretty good, but xiaomi made a big mistake on the mi note 10 lite by keeping the rest of the specs, but downgrading on the camera. I feel like instead of the regular mi note 10 internals, the mi note 10 lite should downgrade to mi CC9 internals, but share the camera setup with the xiaomi mi 10(108MP main, 13 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro and depth). This way, there is enough reason to buy the base mi note 10, but the note 10 lite still has the best camera in its class.

Anonymous, 03 May 2020730G is a big No. Should have been 765g Atleast. Redmi k20... moreNo, 720G is supposed to be for lower midrange smartphones. Plus, that extra 5G modem would drive the cost up, giving you the redmi k30 5G. Boom.

I want a Note 10 SE - with SD865. All rest can remain the same.
Mi 10 Pro is unacceptably expensive in Europe.

Would be great if they release more phones but with more range (one series small, one premium, one waterproof...)

Redmi k20 pro looking like a great buy with SD855 at that price.

It's a nice phone, with great screen and colours. But, Camera is very downgraded compared to note 10. Also with this soc price should be 250€. Now very expensive.

The truth is that any 2019 model of any company makes more sense than 2020 offerings. If you are out there looking to buy, check last year's quantities and price cuts. I got mi9t pro 128 for the same price of this lite junk a few months ago. The Redmi note 9 Pro offers good spec sheet but there are complaints of poor lcd quality. Again, for similar price there is mi9 lite or mi9t.
2020 is the year of ridiculous price hikes...everyone copying the worst of Apple's 'features'...buy less for more!

I hate it when a company releases ten phones in one week, they are frustrating and confusing which one I would pick. I hope the companies stick to 2 or 3 line ups like the One Plus do.
