How can Huawei continue to do better when they don't even have play store access. That's impossible.

from my POV i guess that those brand are becoming greedy with their prices , all their focus is about releasing new phones and always with the increase of prices. without giving their long term support only one major upgrade (we can not say 2 because they release a phone just before google's next update ) . and people started to notice that and companies like google and apple are releasing mid range phones and focusing on the support of updates so my next phone is going to be a mid range from google .

The iPhone SE will most certainly cannibalise 11 sales for those looking for a cheap iPhone. Not sure what their strategy is. Either the profit margin for the SE is higher than that of the 11 or they expect to sell more SEs and make their money back via services.

Even with a conservative estimate, 5G phone sale in China should reach a volume of 150-200 millions or higher for 2020.

The number regarding the 5G phone penetration rate is way off. The Q1 5G smartphone sale volume is 24+ Millions, accounting for about 30% of total smartphone sale. Smartphone sale in January and February was mostly from models of previous years, with most of those models are 4G phones. But for the month of March, the 5G phone sale was already close to 50% of all smartphone sale, even though most of the new 5G models have only started their sale in April. The current expectation by the phone-makers and supply-chain is for 5G phone sale to go way pass 65% by the end of Q2, and 90% or higher in Q4. Even with such a high turn-over rate, it will take additional 2-3 more years to finish the switch from 4G phones to 5G phones, since for any given year, only 40+% users will upgrade their phones. Starting from 2021, the Chinese smartphone market will be more or less 100% 5G only.
